This is the first major phone provider chops their international rate. Before, the cheapest international direct call rate are from Carphone Warehouse’s Mobile World, and Call Abroad SIM from Orange.
Vodafone obviously see the potential that the Chinese and Polish customers have more international traffic than other community, it would be also easy for them to get a better wholesale rate, and passed on to customer.
The Vodafone’s offer will run from 1-Sep-2007 to 31-Mar-2008. If you dont have a Vodafone PAYG phone, just grab one from Carphone Warehouse. Alternatively, buy one from eBay, and it is cheaper.
